USCIS Issues Guidance on Paying Fees and Completing Form I-140

USCIS has rejected an unusually high number of Form I-140 petitions because of incorrect fees and missing information. Petitioners must provide the full $600 asylum program fee (unless qualified for the reduced fee of $300 or $0), in addition to the $715 filing fee. Questions 5 and 6 in Part 1, which determine fee reduction eligibility, also cannot be left blank.

More details can be found here on USCIS’ alert page.
